Kids cooking classes and family experiences
Hands-on classes where kids ages 6 to 12 cook real food from scratch, plus family classes where you cook side by side at the same station. Everything happens in a working kitchen at 10 Elwood Street.
Ages 6 to 12
Kids cooking classes
Two hours where your child does the actual cooking. They mix, knead, roll, fill, decorate and bake, then take home what they made. These are drop-off classes, so parents do not need to stay.
Kids classes have included pasta from scratch, personal pizzas, cookie decorating and a pumpkin-everything morning. Every class is listed with its own date, time, age range and price.
Family classes
Cook together
Some nights the point is not to drop off. Family classes put a parent or grandparent at the same station as the kid, working the same dough, and everybody sits down to what they made.
Everyone cooks
Adults and children work side by side. Nobody stands at the back watching a demonstration.
Booked per person
Family classes are priced per person, so you reserve one seat for each person who is cooking.

- AllergiesWhisk and Flame is a shared cooking studio. Wheat, dairy and eggs are used throughout the space and equipment is shared between classes. Email us before you book if your child has an allergy so we can talk it through first.

Birthday parties
Book the studio for a private kids birthday party. Your group gets the kitchen and a hands-on menu, with an instructor running the party from start to finish.

School break and summer camps
Camps go deeper than a single class. Junior and teen chefs build real technique over several days in a row instead of one evening.
